Spread over an area of 200 acres of land, the college is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college was founded by Sapthagiri Educational Trust, a non- profitable organization. The college has been approved by 'AYUSH', New Delhi and it affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Sri Sairam Homoeopathy Medical College is dedicated to providing education and teaches the students about the spirit of service. To achieve that goal, the college offers an undergraduate course - Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS). The course is of five and a half year's period (four and a half followed by the one year of compulsory internship).
