The Venkataramana Ayurveda College The Venkataramana Ayurveda College is located in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Established in 1979, the Ayurvedic College is counted among the top Ayurveda colleges in the state. At the time of its inception, the college was affiliated to the University of Madras, but in 1989, the affiliation was transferred to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The Venkataramana Ayurveda College admits students in its undergraduate course in the field of Ayurveda - Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery (BAMS). The course is of five and a half year's duration and the college enrolls 20 students every year, for the same.
